Sophisticated, modern and cosmopolitan, the Kingdom of Bahrain is the ‘pearl’
of the Arabian Gulf; welcoming an increasing number of international visitors who come to experience the country's fascinating blend of eastern and western cultures.
As an island nation, Bahrain infuses a unique charm while enjoying a wealth
of excellent hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, an intriguing souq (bazaar)
and more than 5,000 years of civilisation to explore in a warm, sunny climate.
English is spoken and understood everywhere, and its future as a popular sporting, business, media and recreational destination seems assured. It is fast becoming
a niche destination and home to a number of boutique hotels.
The Kingdom is at the heart of the Gulf’s Islamic banking but is now developing as a global financial hub as well as a centre for business and residential opportunities.
