Application window for 2013 funding to close at end of week
The FIA Institute has received a strong response so far for the 2013 Motor Sport Safety Development Fund with over 60 National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) across every region registering for a grant. With just four days to go until the applications' window closes, the Institute is encouraging even more ASNs to register and apply.
The opportunity to apply for this funding is only available once a year so it is imperative that all interested ASNs act now. The Institute is committed to helping ASNs gain access to this important resource and has made staff available to provide support throughout the application process.
This year, grants are again available for activities relating to the Young Driver Safety Programme and the Officials Safety Training Programme. In addition, the Fund is offering grants for the Sustainability Programme for the first time, offering eligible ASNs the chance to take a lead in this area.
ASNs that have received under €250,000 from the Fund since its inception are eligible to apply for grants relating to any of these programmes. The grant application form is available to complete on-line via a secure portal until 1600 GMT Friday 28 September 2012. ASNs can register to gain access to this portal via the following link:
