Africa Workshop 2012

Alongside the annual Confederation of African Countries in Motor Sports (CACMS) meeting taking place in Mauritius, the FIA Institute hosted an OUTREACH workshop to build upon last year's Cape Town meeting and to provide expert assistance to African ASNs wishing to engage in the Fund.

Americas Workshop 2012

26 different countries were in attendance at the FIA Institute's second Americas motor sport development workshop in Cancun, Mexico. The main topics of the workshop were how access to the Fund and the development of the of the sport particularly in the domain of the officials and young driver training.

The FIA Institute hosted the first motor sport development workshop of 2012 in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 12 April. Middle East Workshop 2011

The FIA Institute today hosted its first Middle East and North African Development Workshop in Beirut, Lebanon, bringing together National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) from across the region. Hosted by the Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon, the workshop is the latest in a series of events designed to promote the FIA Motor Sport Safety Development Fund across the world and encourage engagement ahead of 2012 application deadlines.
