National Sporting Authorities
National Sporting Authorities (ASNs) are responsible for issuing motor sport licences, employing FIA safety regulations across all motor sport disciplines within their country, and overseeing motor sport events. Many ASNs undertake additional activities, such as safety training courses for young drivers and officials.

Industry Liaison Group
The Industry Liaison Group (ILG) is an important interface for dialogue between the FIA Institute's working groups and the safety equipment manufacturers who deliver new standards to the market. The ILG's members include National Sporting Authorities, testing centres and major companies involved in manufacturing safety equipment such as helmets, HANS devices and safety harnesses. It is considered an essential component in bringing safety to all levels of motor sport.

Medical Personnel
As part of the FIA Institute Medical Programme, individuals involved in medicine and motor sport will be able to gain access to a unique network of medical personnel, exclusive events, publications and other member specific content. Individual membership will be available to all medical personnel involved or interested in motor sport who are located in a country that has a FIA approved national sporting authority (ASN). Membership will be available later this year.
